The Beginning

Yuki walked through the trees leading to the bright building that she was soon to be living in. She could see it now, a very large school building surrounded by clear grassy fields. All of the students rooms were inside a special half of the building, and some students had to share rooms, she had read in the brochure for the school that had been sent to her in the mail. She wondered if she would have a roommate, and if so, what kind of powers would they have?

"Nah, i'm good." Erik replied. Erik was pacing around the room bored. "So anything interesting happen during classes?" Erik asked.

"Not really... I just hung aroung with a water demon." She smiled setting down the salmon for Mice.

"Cool." Erik replied, sitting down on his bed and looking up at the ceiling.

"Well, I should really be getting to sleep." she sighed. "See you tomorrow!" she smiled and entered the other room, where her bed was.

Erik dozed off thinking. Mice ate salmon looking at Erik. "The day will soon come where you must strike your own, my boy." Mice breathed.

Yuki woke up the next morning. "Ugh..." she groaned as she stepped out of her bed. "I had the weirdest dream." She got dressed and walked into the kitchen.

"What was the dream?" Mice asked who had been following her. Erik had been eating a bowl of cereal in the kitchen. "Morning." Erik said.

"Good morning, Erik." Yuki smiled. She looked at Mice. "It's, umm, actually pretty difficult. You see, umm..."

Mice sat down and listened. Erik yawned, finishing his cereal. "Well, I'm gonna go and practice." Erik said walking out the door.

"Okay... Good luck!" Yuki smiled. She looked back at mice. "Err, most of it was blue fire. It kind of concerns me... you see, Yuki-onna also have weak psychic skills."

"I see. The time is coming then." Mice said turning and walking away.

"T-Time?" Yuki stuttered. "What do you mean by that? Is there something going on?"

"You'll see soon." Mice said, disappearing.

"How can you stand being next to a yuki-onna?! You need to kill her! And soon!" Yui yelled at Erik, of whom she had been pestering all morning. "Why?" Erik asked.

Puzzled, Yuki walked outside. Luckily, this school didn't have classes on Fridays so she decided to wander instead of staying cooped up. She eventually found herself in the forest where her, Yui, and Erik were before.

Yui didn't reply. Erik got up and started to walk around the forest. Yui following him. "You have to! She's the enemy, EVIL! Kill her and the world is safe!" Yui yelled, they walked past Yuki not noticing her.

Yuki heard Yui and Erik walk by. "... Kill me?" she frowned. She continues walking and sat on the edge of a river. She began to move the water around and make it morph into different shapes.

"I'll pass." Erik said. "Oh really?" Yui stopped and stared at him. "Then I'll do it!" She yelled running off. Erik stopped for a moment, then turned around staring into the forest.

Yuki laughed at one of her creations. She turned when she heard rustling in the trees behind her and saw Yui. "Oh, hey, Yui."

Erik followed Yui quietly. When she stopped he knew she found Yuki. "This ends here!" She yelled, taking out a dagger.

"Eh?!" Yuki stood up, shocked. "Yui! What are you doing?!"

"Yuki-onna are evil! You have to die!" She yelled running at Yuki. Erik hump out and threw a fire knife at Yui's hand. it set Yui's hand on fire, She screamed rushing for water. She jumped in.

Yuki raised the water with Yui on top of it. "Are... you okay?"

Yui stared at Yuki. She leaped at Yuki pushing her the ground, raising a dagger to Yuki's face. Erik shoved Yui off.

Yuki stood up. "What do I have to do to make you trust me?!"

"NOTHING!" Yui yelled lunging at Yuki again, this time managing to scratch her. Erik was creating a shadow sword.
