Chapter 1: And down we go.

I sat in the cafeteria, sitting next to the windows. Watching as a war waged below, on earth. Three other soldiers sat at the table simply eating. "So Grey." one began, speaking to me with a grin. "You about ready to get on down there and start busting some Viser heads?" He asked. Visers were a alien race that had came and began to attack us. "Ready as I'll ever be Disk.." I replied not taking my eyes off the planet. "Well guess what? Elites, ELITES, are coming over and fighting alongside us. Visers had destroyed their planet apparently." Disk said his grin never disappearing. Disk was second in command to our team, and the jokester. "So if that's true Disk, just how many more Visers are coming?" another asked. He had a skull painted onto his left breastplate. "Dunno, But it'll definitely be interesting, dont'cha agree Mike?" Disk replied. Mike simply grunted. Mike was a higher ranked ODST then I, but he was not captain or second in command. "So, Captain, When we going down?" I asked. "Soon. We're waiting for Alpha to arrive." the fourth replied. "Alpha? Whatta mean Alpha, Lisa?" Disk asked. "Alpha-909, He's bring a recruit over." Lisa replied, She was the captain of our squad, and is the strongest of us. She shares my hardships, she had lost all her family and her adopted daughter is supposedly dead. "So when is Alpha-909 getting here?" Mike asked. "I'm not sure." Lisa replied staring out the window and taking a bite out of her bread.

As Aeri walked through the entrance she was talked to the ground by a couple elites. "It is human." An elite announced and they got off of her. "Wow, Elites! Never thought i'd see them!" Disk yelled walking over to one. "We did not think we'd see humans again ourselves." One said. "Arbiter, they have arrived." one elite said.

"Elites?" Aeri's anxiety dissapeared. She was pleased, even though she had wanted to find Grey.

"You arrived at a good time. Two pods crashed into the top of the building." The arbiter said to Aeri. "Who is your leader?" The arbiter asked looking around them. "I am." Lisa said walking over. "And two pods?" Disk asked, interested.

Aeri grinned. "Do you think it might be Grey?" It seems Grey might be here after all.

"It may be, but even if the pods made it to earth, I doubt he lived the impact." Disk replied. "Let's go see then." Lisa replied.

Grey sat down next to his pod, he had began to cry out of pain. His right arm had been mutilated cause of the crash, you could now see his bones, muscles, and veins.

When they had made it to the room where the pods had crashed the first thing Aeri saw was Grey. 'He's alive!' she thought. She glanced at his arm. 'Though it looks like just barely...'

Grey looked over and saw that Everyone except alpha made it. "Where's alpha?" Grey asked just barely. "He was killed. Mike?" Lisa asked. "KIA." Grey replied.

"Your arm... " Aeri spoke up. "It needs to be bandaged up or you'll either bleed out or get an infection." She then nervously looked around at the walls surrounding her.

Disk had jumped to Grey right away starting to stab into his muscles with medicine. then bandaged the arm up. "Be easy with the arm for awhile." Disk said calmly.

"What to you know... " Aeri trailed off, talking to herself.

Arbiter had walked up to Lisa, then looked over to Aeri. "You two are very similar..Nonetheless, there is a bomb in the building and we must find it." The arbiter said. "If we do not, this whole city and everything surrounding it will be obliterated." Arbiter added.

'Similar...?' Aeri thought to herself. 'How?' she turned. "We should begin looking for it."

Arbiter did not reply. "Will he be able to move on?" Arbiter asked. "Yes. He should." Disk replied.

"That's a relief... " Aeri said to herself quietly. She took a few more steps towards the exit and turned around to wait for the others.

Grey got up, and walked up to Lisa, then looking at Aeri. "There are some similarities." Grey said then walking to the exit. Lisa took a picture out of her suit and put it back after looking at Aeri.

'Sim... Similarities...' "I don't get it." she said aloud to herself.

Lisa said nothing. "Let us find the bomb." The arbiter said. "Let's split up." Disk called out. "I'll go with Grey, as I'm the medic, and he is hurt. Lisa and Aeri will go together, and Arbiter, you go with your elites, you should be able to cover most ground." Disk said.

"Are you ready to go, Lisa?"

"Yes." Lisa said. "I need to tell you something." Lisa added.

"Let's go!" disk shouted. "Alright, Alright." Grey replied.

Aeri looked at Lisa, puzzled. "What is it?"

"This picture look at it." Lisa handed Aeri a picture of a little girl. "That was my daughter when she entered the military, she went MIA only a few days later, and then you came out of nowhere." Lisa said.

Aeri inspected the picture. "That's... strange. What a... coincidence..." she looked at Lisa. "What was her name?"

"Elise, But later after looking around, We found her dead in a enhancer room in a viser base, Viser try to create super soldiers." Lisa said. "Do you remember anything before you entered the military?" Lisa asked,

Aeri froze. "... No. I lost memory of everything before I joined the military. My name... " she interrupted herself.

"Aeri is a code, it's seen everywhere in Viser enhancer bases." Lisa said. "Your a enhanced version of my daughter." Lisa said simply.
