The Beginning

Redsky gazed at the sky from her perch on a low tree branch. Everything was the same as yesterday. She sighed and jumped down to the ground. ShadowClan wouldn't be pleased if she didn't come back with anything. She wandered further away from her camp in serch of prey.

"Yes, Redsky. We also have a Lakeclan cat with us now also. Now get back to camp!" Rainwing meowed hitting darkheart on the head with his tail.

Darkheart laughed. "Okay, okay!" he purred. "So what are they like?"

Rainwing thought for a second. "Well Redsky is nice, So is Razorleaf." Rainwing meowed.

Darkheart looked at his friend. "That's all you have to say about them?" he grinned.

"Well, Redsky is nice, sweet, I really don't know how to describe her. as for Razorleaf I haven't talked to her long enough." Rainwing meowed.

"I see..." Darkheart purred. "I just can't wait to meet them."

Darkheart and Rainwing walked back to camp. Rainwing remained quiet and fidgety the whole time back.

Darkheart could sense something wrong with his friend. "Rainwing, what's wrong? You're acting strange." He flicked his tail and sat down near the warriors den.

"Lakeclan is enormous, and extremely strong, They want to take over all the clans. I just feel like they are watching us." Rainwing meowed. He yawned and moved to a little spot. he then lie down and fell asleep.

Darkheart shrugged and found a place to sleep near one of the newer cats. He couldn't tell who it was.

Rainwing coulden't sleep, he had no idea if it was day or night either. Rainwing got up. He heard a noise at the entrance and slowly moved to it. "Hello? Anyone?" Rainwing asked. As he walked out the entrance he looked around. "What the hell.." Rainwing said he looked around and the surrounding forest was nothing similar to the forest he's used to. he started to back up but rammed into a wall. "Where the hell am I!?" Rainwing yelled, confused.

Rainwing woke up to a paw poking him one the back. "Umm, you're in the warriors den, Rainwing." Redsky smiled. "Having a weird dream?"

Rainwing freaked out jumping up. "That dream.." Rainwing meowed.

"What was it, Rainwing?" Redsky asked curiously. "It had to have been strange considering all of the yowling last night." she laughed.

"It coulden't..of..I was..I swore..Such a big forest..It's just not possible.." Rainwing mumbled to himself. he looked up at redsky. "It was just a silly nightmare." Rainwing smilled.

Redsky smiled, concerned for her friend. "Oh, okay, then." She looked at the exit to the den. "Well, everyone's either out eating or on patrol. I'm getting hungry, so..."

Rainwing's stomach grumbled. "I'm hungry to." Rainwing meowed.

Redsky smiled. "Then let's get something to eat!" Once she and Rainwing had both picked something out of the fresh-kill pile they went over and sat down. Darkheart noticed his friend and took his food over and sat down next to them. "And who is this?" he purred.

"Redsky." Rainwing replied. "This is Darkheart," rainwing said to Redsky. "He was my apprentice when he was a small little kit." Rainwing meowed.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Redsky." Darkheart purred and looked at his friend. "You made friends with her pretty quickly." he laughed.

Rainwing shrugged. "That forest.." Rainwing mumbled.

"What forest?" Redsky asked. "Was it from your nightmare?"

"Yes. It was dark, and big, but I was on a long dark path." Rainwing meowed.

"Maybe I shouldn't have woken you up... you might have found out what it meant. I'm sorry." Redsky took a bite out of her prey.

"I'd rather wake up. There was something creepy about it." Rainwing shrugged,
