Loners- New version. *beware, mild cussing*

Story:
The year, 2324. Global warming has stopped, returning most of the environment back to normal. But now World war 3 has started. My name is Cloud, I'm 16, and my other brother Ganon, He's 18, this is our story, This is how the world could of ended.

Prologue-
Year: 2310, "All civilians in truck now! No delays or you are to be left behind! Bomb to be dropped in Minus two minutes!" A soldier called out as people got in. The soldier was wearing blue armor, Soldiers with red armor we're attacking from all sides.
Blue=Americans, and Europeans.
Red: Spanish and French.
A woman holding a young boy, and holding the hand of another boy. "Mama, what's going on?! Where's Papa?!" The older boy asked. "Papa is doing his job.." She looked back at the ugly war then looked back over to the van and scurried over with both boys. "Mama! We can't leave Papa!" The boy was yelling the younger boy had started crying and the Woman started to cradle the young boy. "Your upsetting your brother, Ganon." The woman replied. "We can't leave papa!!" The boy yelled.

The truck started to move. Ganon burst into tears. "PAAAAAPPPAAA!!!!!" Ganon yelled, as the car drove into the distance, The town was eliminated in one huge explosion.

A few months later, The woman was living in a tiny cottage with her two sons, The war continued on. "Mama?" Ganon asked chewing on a apple he got. "Yes?" She asked. "There are some people outside, from a black limo, they want to speak to you." Ganon said. The woman got up holding the little boy. She walked to the front door and opened it. She dropped to the floor, Shot in the head. "Mama!!!!!" Ganon yelled running to her side. "Take care....of...clo....u...d......" She said a tear coming from her eye. Ganon got up, His baby brother was on the ground crying, a little boy standing next to him. Cloud had only one arm, that was how he was born. "Take the baby. I want it." The little boy said. Two men walked over to Cloud, to pick him up. But Ganon ran over and bit one of The men's arm making them yell and jump back. Ganon quickly grabbed Cloud and ran out the back door. Ganon ran and didn't stop. No matter how much it hurt to carry Cloud, He continued to run.

"The past, Memories....Are they worth remembering?"


Chapter 1-
"CRRAAAAP!!" Ganon yelled getting punched to the ground by a couple of gangsters. " I already told you, This is OUR alley, so get lost." A guy said. "Never. So shut up." I said punching the guy in the face. "Fuck!!! Who's the brat!?" The guy said holding his nose. "I'm cloud, The one with the one arm." 'freak' The guy said pointing at me. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!?" I yelled. A car parked on the outside of the alley. "Ack! it's him! Everyone! run!" The gangsters turned around and fled. A young man walked over with a gun. "Oh. I didn't expect to see you guys." The man said. "Who're you?" I ask. "Leon, Leon Aleson."
"Elson?" I said. "No. Ale-Son." The guy corrected. Ganon got up and rubbed his face. "What happened to you two?!" Leon asked seeing how rugged and beat up we we're.

We hopped in the car with him and went to his house, He was quite the nice guy. Over the next few weeks/days(we lost count) We enjoyed staying with him, he enjoyed staying with us, It turns out he was a police officer of the town. he gave us some stun pistols in-case we're ever in a predicament. "Leon, I'm heading out to grab some pizza, what do you guys want?" Ganon asked. "Peppers." Leon replied. Ganon walked out into the streets, listening to the quietness, it was unusual. Though he didn't complain as it was nice. Though he had a gut feeling something was about to happen.

A loud cry could be heard in an alley only a bit away, Ganon ran forward Trned to the alley and entered into the darkness. "Hello?" Ganon asked, It was dark, He could barely see a thing, He pulled out his pistol very slowly and lit Leon's lighter. the scream came again This time light's came from the window's, now all was visible, A girl was in the corner hiding as her brother was brutally killed. "Piece a...Shi....t...Leave....Her....alon..e." The boy murmured getting thrown at the wall.. Men broke through the window's blocking the entrance to the alley. "Who're you?" The man asked, Finishing off the brother. "...You Killed him? Why?" Ganon asked, putting his gun away and reaching for his back pocket. "The girl of course, Woulden't listen to us the thing, Tried to comfort her we did. O'course she wouldn't let us touch her." The man said. "Sick, That's just sick, you bastards!" Ganon yelled, The man took off his face to reveal he was really a robot. "Kill'em boys!" The man yelled. Ganon took a knife out of his back pocket and ripped it down on one guy killing him quickly.-Though it broke the knife, the guy's stomach was machine.- Ganon quickly took out his guy and shot the guy behind him.

"Death, Death is a chilling thing, Unless you crave blood, Then...Is blood good?"

Ganon ran towards the robotic man as more guys came through the window with weapons. They all froze, and we're quickly brushed aside towards the wall. A girl jumped down from the roof, "Save the girl." She said and with a shift of her hands threw the guys into the air, they all landed with a sound of bone cracking, only a few could get up but by then she had already rammed them into the wall again.

Ganon Quickly rushed forward and rammed into the robotic man onto the ground and punched him repeatedly, Ganon grabbed his gun and aimed it at the robot's face. and was about to push the trigger but was hesitant to, he'd be the same as those guys who killed his family back then. and he did not want to. The robot quickly punched him throwing him back quite a bit. He quickly got up and shot the robot in the heart-and face-, Ganon dropped to his knees. worn out from the fight. until he heard the boy talking. in fact, he was talking to Ganon. "Sir....Please.....Take....my sister......Take care of her....please...." with that he died. The girl from earlier walked to Ganon's side and helped him up. "You okay?" She asked. "I'm...fine." Ganon replied. "I'm Ganon, You are?" Ganon asked. "Angie." With that they both walked over to the girl they rescued, Not knowing that everything that had just happened will change most of the world..

Chapter 2:


The girl stood up. "Who-Who..Who are you two?!" She asked. "Ganon, and that's Angie, you are?" Ganon asked. "Melissa...Where's my brother?" She asked. "He's..No longer with us." Angie replied. "Oh...Well, I doubt he wants me to mourn for him...He always said to be as happy as you can be and live life to the fullest..." Melissa said sad.

Ganon walked them to Aleson's house seeing as to ask Angie just how she disposed of those guys earlier, and well Melissa didn't have anywhere to stay. I opened the door. "You brought home girls? What the hell? I wanted pizza..." My stomach grumbled. "I'll explain later." Ganon replied. "Well alright..." I replied. Only a little later Ganon, Aleson, and I, we're sitting next to each other wide eyed. "I have physic powers." Angie said calmly. "I was born with them." Angie continued. "...i'm normal.." Melissa said bored, taking another sip of her coffee. "I was born with one arm." I replied. "But...You have two arms.." Melissa point at the second arm. "It's robotic, Leon made it for me." I replied. "NO WAY!" Melissa yelled grabbing my robotic arm an looking at it as if she wanted to dissect it.-Which I bet she wanted to do-"Your good with mechanics?" Melissa asked. "I guess, Why?" Aleson asked. "This!" Melissa gave a sheet of metal-or at least it looked like metal.- "So?" Aleson questioned. Melissa touched the very middle and it transformed into a box and opened up to show a broken thing. "I don't know what the thing is, but it's broken, think you can fix it? I think it was what those robot guys we're looking for earlier." Melissa asked. "I'll try." And with that Aleson went to his room and shut the door behind him, My stomach gave a large grumble and everyone looked at me. "...What? I haven't eaten anything to day.." I slouched to the ground starving. "I'll go grab the pizza..." Ganon said shaking his head and walking out.

Ganon had returned and everyone ate pizza, except for Aleson who was still in the room. Everyone slept quietly upstairs, Well Except for me, Who stayed awake, listening to the quietness, Thinking. "What was in the box? What does life mean? Are we important? Or are we just figures in some grand plan? I questioned all of that listening to the quietness, I never heard Aleson come out, He must have fell asleep in there." I fell asleep, And I'm quite the heavy sleeper, But No one, and I repeat NO ONE could sleep hearing such a loud shriek. Instantly Everyone was ramming down the stairs, and literally Shoving and pushing to get to the bottom, it was no pretty site, everything was torn up or thrown around Aleson's down was broken open, we turned with pistols in hand and ran in, Leon was cornered by two robot like men, although they weren't robot, they we're human, Leon shot one guy in the head and squirmed away with the box in hand, and ran past us, "Run dammit! Their Not human!" Aleson yelled. I turned around but was punched in the gut by one and they ran past, I coughed up blood, They we're all over the place, we we're outnumbered. I got up, seeing everyone fight, and entered Aleson's room grabbing the sharpest thing I saw.

Melissa, Was cornered by two of the thug like guys, "Stay away from me!" Melissa yelled,
A sharp Ended poll stabbed trough one's arm, I jumped from behind and ripped him from it, although his arm stayed with the pole. "How do you like being one armed?" I asked tripping him to the ground, and of course he was helpless when it came to geting up, I kicked him in the head and turned to the other guy who had my pole and stabbed at me, I jerked away and jabbed him in the stomach with my elbow.

Ganon Punched one in the face but dodged a near kick to the waist, "You'd think you'd be smarter.." Ganon replied, punching it in the neck, and he was correct, it was a robot. He turned around to be punched in the nose sending him flying at the wall.

Ganon's vision was blurry, but he got up with a fighting spirit still in him. Ganon ran head first at one of the guys and kicked it in the head, He then turned and punched through one, he turned again, to see a gun point at his gut. "Put your hands in the air." Said one of the guys. Ganon raised his arms in the air. "Kill him!" All the robots turned to Ganon and shot him. "You...bitch...you...tricked me......" Ganon faded to black listening to the yelling.

Ganon woke up but he had no body strangely he was in a dream, or was he in heaven? or was it Hell? wherever he was it was strange. It flashed away and he was in darkness again, He saw a young girl wandering the darkness, Whistling. Th thought was eerie, He was whole again though. Ganon ran to the girl to ask her what the heck is going on but his hand went through her. "What the..?" Ganon asked, He looked again and she was a deformed monster. "Gah!" Ganon yelled jumping back, he turned to see Me, holding my pistol aiming at the beast. with everyone else, They fought the beast, even he was there, although there we're a couple other people he saw, but sadly one by one they fell till it was only him, Me and the beast. As they fought it blurred into the darkness. He heard voices, as he opened his eyes he saw Aleson and everyone looking at him. "Your awake!" Aleson cheered. "My...head...What happened? where are the robots!?" Ganon asked. "We destroyed them. With blazing fury that is. Hehe." Aleson smirked looking over at Angie and me who we're both covered in blood. "No way would I let them kill my brother." I said shooting a slightly alive robot in the head. "...The box?" Ganon asked. "It's fine, Melissa has it and is checking it out." Aleson said boredly as if he wanted to study it more.

Chapter 3 -

"Dominic, A deadly robot, Has been released along with a assasin to retrieve a special box, Although...If we could, General, We may send out a couple droids to steal the box from Dominic and the Assasin, that is with your permission. " A soldier said. "Go ahead, anything to beat the blue army, after that we can concentrate on taking over the rest of the world." A man said in the shadows.


About two weeks or so after the last chapter:

"Sooo...You can see the future?" I ask. "Yup. It's quite nice." Ganon replied, Winning another game of checkers. "Want a rematch?" Ganon asked. "No! dammit! you can see every move I make! you win every time." I said getting up and walking away. "Don't be such a sore loser!" Ganon yelled. "i'm going to bed." I said walking up the stairs. but stopping mid way. "Wait. What the freaking hell am I doing!? I need to figure out my power!" I thought, I quickly ran up the stairs and packed some clothes into my bag, and went down into the kitchen and packed atleast a week's worth of food into the bag. I then ran into the living room. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Angie asked boredly as she switched through channels on the TV. "I'm going camping." I replied. everyone looked at me like I was insane. "You woulden't make it. You'd be on the ground five minutes after you got outside." Ganon replied. Aleson ran up behind me with a huge bag of stuff. "Can I come?!" Aleson asked. "....Why would you want to come?" I asked. "Cause, I want to be the first one to see your new power, and well. I want to get out of the house for a bit." Aleson replied. "Alrighty then.." I replied. And with that we headed out, Unknowingly going to kick some ass soon.


"Dominic, See anyone who could have the box?" A person asked walking up to a robot like thing. "I think so, I detect much power from a soul, that boy down there, he must have it." Dominic replied. "Are you sure?" The person asked. "Yes, though Something is troubling me about the boy."


After we had entered the forest we set up a camp. "Aleson, what's the cube doing in your bag?" I asked pulling it out. "I wanted to study it." Aleson replied. "...Right...Well, I'm gnna go figure out my power, just yell if you need me." I said walking into the forest. I had been practicing for hours, I tried different things, I tried litterally everything, except for strength and well transforming into animals. Both failed. I guess I won't have an powers then. "CLOUD!!!!!" That piercing shriek made me turn and head straight for camp. As I made my way in I quickly jumped forward just barely dodging a tree crashing down. A cloaked person stood in front of me with a long sword. "Where is the cube?" The cloaked person asked. "Why would you need to know?" I asked. "I need it. So again I ask, where is the cube?" The cloaked person asked again getting impatient. "You'll have to kill me if you want to know!!" I replied with a smirk on my face.


The cloaked person dashed at me but completely missed as I jumped out of the way but a person was behind me I quickly jumped out of the way. "I am dominic, I am your nightmare." The thing said. I went to grab my pistol but a sword swiped through my arm, it fell off to the ground. "My arm..." I saidd looking at it. "Wha..Your not...in pain?" The cloak person asked. "You cut off my robotic arm that's why!" I said with a huge grin on my face. The cloaked person ran for me dominic just behind. I punched the cloaked person in the face knocking him down. I quickly turned to dominic and punched him in the gut sending him flying into a tree, well through two trees, Well what do you know My power is strength! I turned to the cloaked person, Though I didn't expect what I saw, the cloaked person was a girl! "What the.." I started.


"My name's midna." The girl replied kicking me in the face and jumping up, I coughed up blood. "Give me the cube, and you'll help the blue army." Midna replied. "Are you fucking stupid?!....Scratch that....Do...you know...what power the cube could hold?..We've already as much, it effects the genetics of everything, it could destroy the world...And you want to give it too a freaking army?!...I don't want this to get anymore bloody then it currently is...Why don't you just leave..." I said, blood drooling out of my mouth. "Your losing so much blood, your going to die if you continue talking." with that I dropped to the ground dead. Midna turned to aleson and and started to walk over too him. "Did you know, once there lived a man." Midna turned around, the voice was coming from my body. "..Your..dead..." Midna said grabbing her sword. "He was a proud man, he worked for the army and killed many souls everyday, One day, his wife grew sick and died, then his kids died later on..." The voice rang. "..." Midna continued to step closer. "One day while he was camping, he saw a figure, The figure drew closer....It was death...death had came for him finally..." My body jerked up, My robotic arm was fixed, and blood covered my whole body. "I'm your death, No...I am everyone's death." I said with a grin. "Alpha team here! dropping down men to secure cube!" A man said a helicopter just above them Soldiers dropped down from all around, "Well, Cloud, You win I surrender, to you that is. To them however, I'll kill them all." Midna said. Dominic jumped next to midna. "The cube?" Dominic asked. "We don't need it. Let's take care of these goons." Midna said calmly.

Chapter 4-

I stared astonished at Midna. "You surrender!? but, but, but, you we're just kicking my ass! And you just surrender?!" I ignored the fact of enemies around us. "Yes." Midna said knocking one guy to the ground. "But, but-" I started, but Midna cut me off, "We'll fight again later and see who wins then." Midna said boredly, as she brushed a few guys to the ground. Dominic was struggling against them, cause of the wound I gave him. I got up to check on aleson, who was hiding in a tree with the cube. "What the? Ales-SHIT!" I jumped out of the way, as a rocket flew by my head. "You people play rough..." I said with a happy face. "I also play rough!" I yelled smashing the ground causing a mini earthquake around us. I also saw someone who was falling. Aleson! I quickly made a mad dash for it but stopped, as Aleson-who was still clutching the cube- slowly drifted from the massive abyss to the ground. "SHIT CRAP GOD! I'M GONNA DIE!! I CAN'T DIE!! I'M TO YOUNG!! I WANT TO HAVE A WIFE AND KIDS! WHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-..." Aleson looked around. "Ale, Your alive. You can shut up now." I said boredly. "Oh um...cool." Aleson sat up. "Your lucky I decided to save you." Dominic said still fixing his arm.

"So...Our mission is over...We failed, Dominic..If we return back...They'll execute us....Such a heavy price for such a mission...Let's go." Midna said simply, and quietly. "Wait, Your just throwing your lives away cause of one mission?" I asked. but neither replied, they silently walked off. "We need to return home and warn everyone. The danger we're all in is huge." Aleson said. "Right." We packed up and went home.

We quietly-and quickly-ran through the forest, aware that we could be attacked at anytime, but we weren't afraid, we knew if anything happened I'd be able to handle it thanks to my powers, what we did not expect was home. As we made a short cut down a alley we knew something was different about town.

"Oh, my, god." Aleson said, stopping in his tracks, I skidded to a stop almost running into him. "wha-Holy shit." I said wide-eyed as a car flipped over us and landed-and exploded-behind us. The war moved in to the city. But what I was staring at was something hard to believe, My FATHER. "Dad!?" I screamed, seeing him saving a little girl from the heat of the battle. He stopped and stared at me, not knowing who I was for a moment. But it was rather late when he realized who I was, Soldiers surrounded him and the girl. "No! Stay away from him!" I screamed As I ran they all turned and laughed at me raising their guns. My dad fell to his knees sobbing. I jumped and landed on one guy's forehead, a large crack was heard, and I realized I broke his skull. I didn't care, but the others did, shooting like maniacs at me as I grabbed the earth under them and launched them in the air. But a pain struck me in the back and I fell to the ground. As I turned to see my attacked aleson jumped in front of me but was punched to the ground. MY dad stood above me a gun pointing down to my head. "..Dad?...Wh..wh...why?" I asked as blood oozed out of me. " Your a monster! no wonder He wanted the cube! so he could destroy people like you! You killed your own mother! How could you live with yourself!" He yelled at me. "I...Didn't...I wouldn't...Who told you those..Lies?" I asked, unable to get up. when I gave a faint smile. Ganon and the others arrived. "Who's this fool? How the heck did he beat cloud?" Melissa asked. "More freaks!!! Soldiers everyone! It's these freaks! they want to take over the world! they wan-EEK!" Ganon slapped our father to the ground.
"Amazing how much you changed father, once a courageous young man. now a coward." Ganon said stepping on his stomach. "YOU TAKE THAT BACK! TAKE IT BACK RIGHT NO-ACK!" He started but stopped. "Norvil, Norvil, Norvil. The coward who could not. Haha!" Ganon laughed. "YOU GUYS ARE MONSTERS! KILLING FOR NO REASON! JUST LIKE YOU KILLED YOUR MOTHER!" Norvil shrieked. Ganon's smile was long gone. "We? WE? You are clearly misunderstood old man, It was your fellow soldiers, THE SAME DAMN SOLDIERS YOU ARE HERE WITH NOW, THAT CAME IN AND SHOT THE DAMN BRAINS OUT OF HER, IT IS THE SAME DAMN SOLDIERS WHO CAUSE THIS WAR FOR THE SAKE OF SOME CUBE!" Ganon screamed at Norvil. "LIAR! LIAR! LIA-Urk..I..Can't...breath..." Norvil started to choke as ganon pushed his foot down, he lifted his foot off of Norvil. "Such idiotic people, Let's leave, Take the girl We'll be able to protect her." Ganon said turning away, As I got up and helped aleson, we stayed quiet following ganon and everyone away from this war filled city.

"Glad to have you guys back." Ganon said as we followed him. "Did you figure your power out?" Ganon added. "Yup, Strength." I said still bothered about seeing my father. "What happened here?" Aleson asked. "We're helping you people and you hurt daddy!" The girl yelled at Aleson kicking him. "Listen little girl, war isn't helpi-...Daddy?" Ganon said looking back. "Yea, He though mother was dead, and you guys died so he married someone else. My mother!" She said. "What's your name?" I asked surprised that this is a step sister of sorts. "Amy." She said mad.

Midna and Dominic walked down a corridor into a large dark room. "You failed?" A man in a chair asked. "Y-y-yes." Midna said warily. Dominic walked over to the man and whispered something into his ears. "Go ahead and kill them then. They are in the city. Get the cube and return Dominic." The man said. "As for you Midna. Dominic kill her." Dominic jumped at Midna gun in hand and shot at her. She swiftly dodged and ran out the door.

...1 week later...

"Crap...My..Leg..." Midna walked silently and quickly through the forest. "Find her and kill her!" A soldier yelled running after her. Blood slid down her leg.
"I see her!" A soldier yelled.
"Then shoot her rookie!" Another soldier yelled.
the soldier stopped and got his sniper ready. as he was pulling the trigger, a boulder fell from the sky and crushed him. "What the?!" Everyone stopped shocked. Midna Stared behind a tree. "Where did that come from?!" A man asked. "Not sure Sarge..." Boulders could be seen in the air. "Fuck. RUN!!!" A soldier yelled turning and running but got crushed by a boulder a second later. Sickles stabbed out of the sarge's hands. "it's them." Sarge said slicing a boulder in half. Aleson, Angie, and Melissa jumped out. Melissa Started shooting at a soldier. Ganon ran at Sarge punching him in the face. Angie used her physic powers and started shooting the boulders at all the soldiers. almost wiping them all out. Midna gave a faint smile but shrugged in pain. Aleson tripped sarge and dodged the sickles with ease. Ganon had more problem as he was not as agile. Sarge punched Ganon in the stomach sending him flying. Aleson dodged in pain as one of his thumbs we're sliced off. "YOW!!" Aleson screamed dropping to the ground. The boulders stopped coming and I launched out from behind sarge and punched at his head. "What?!" Sarge dodged and stabbed me in the leg. "CRAP!!!" I fell to the ground but got up easily. "Hehe. Nice one." I said, staggering a bit. Sarge had disappeared. leaving me clueless for a moment, then I quickly ducked as a sickle stabbed out above me. I turned and kicked Sarge in the gut sending him into the air. Angie, Ganon, and aleson all ran over to me. Melissa going over to help Midna. Sarge came plummeting down. his body made out of spikes now. "Holy crap!" I yelled jumping out of the way as he landed where I was standing. "Haha! I am immortal!" Sarge laughed. "Except your neck." Ganon said smiling. No spikes covered his neck, making it an easy target. "Damn you!" Sarge yelled running at ganon who swiftly dodged and kicked him in the back of the neck. Sarge screamed, turned around, and ran at ganon again. Ganon began to be a little cocky dodging again and again kicking at Sarge's neck. but before ganon could kick Sarge's neck again, Sarge rammed his fist into Ganon's stomach. Ganon coughed up blood dropping to the ground. "Yo! Sarge!" I yelled, Sarge looked over and screamed, as a sword lunged into his neck. I took the sword out and he dropped dead. "Don't ever mess with my friend's." I said, turning over to everyone. "Is everyone okay?" Everyone nodded. Aleson was mourning for his lost finger, while Melissa treated to Midna's and Ganon's wounds.

Midna walked casually through the halls of her new home. She pretty much lived there, after all. She was recruited by the blue army about a month before and was already a moderately ranked soldier. Some of the others were afraid of her, the rest thought she was just a nuisance. She ran errands for a powerful man, leader of the blue army.
"Midna," said a low voice from the other side of the hall. She spun around to look at the speaker. "You're wanted. Follow me . . ." Midna sighed. Even though she had just returned from a mission and had not even washed the blood off of her arm she was getting called for yet another one. Despite that, she followed anyways, almost excited for her next mission.
She walked through the familiar corridor that led to her boss' "throne". The room was dark, as always, and she could barely see his face hidden behind shadows and his black cloak.
"I have another mission for you, Midna," he said with a smile. His hand left his armrest and he flipped a picture out of his sleeve. Midna approached the man and he handed her the picture. "I need you to track down and kill this person." he said, pointing to the person in the picture. "They are a huge threat to the blue army."
"I will start right away . . ." Midna said calmly as she quickly snatched the photograph out of his hand and shoved it in the pocket of her cloak without a word. She walked out of the room and through the corridor. She stopped walking and turned to a soldier guarding the corridor. "I will be leaving for a mission." He nodded and Midna left the building through an elevator. As soon as she was a distance away from the building she pulled the picture out of her pocket. On it was a boy with two different colors of eyes. He looked about her age, but there was darkness in his eyes. The kind of darkness that wanted to destroy the blue army. She flipped the picture over and the town he was located in was written in neat letters. It wasn't very far away.
